Recent Launches and Innovations

EXCON serves as the largest and most influential platform to showcase our capabilities to construction equipment manufacturers. At EXCON 2025, Ashok Leyland has introduced a new compact series of engines designed primarily for applications such as mini compactors, small wheel loaders, and skid-steer loaders.

Among the key launches is the P-15i, 1.5-litre Industrial engine, delivering 49 HP/55 HP compliant with CEV STAGE V Emission norms. We have also launched the H4 74 HP Unipack, a fully integrated power solution developed for applications such as backhoes, pavers, cranes and tandem compactors.

In addition to these launches, we showcased our 82.5 kVA DG genset with a refreshed design, along with the A6 engine range, spanning power outputs from 280 HP to 450 HP. We also presented our next-generation, future-ready Hydrogen (H2 ICE) engine, as well as our widely adopted H6 engine range, offering 133 HP to 225 HP and compliant with CEV STAGE V Emission norms.

Collectively, these engines received strong interest at EXCON 2025. Ashok Leyland engines were featured across 35+ applications, with over 35 manufacturers displaying machines powered by our engines. Notably, 10 new machines were launched by our OEM customers at the exhibition using Ashok Leyland power solutions.

About the LeyPower App

The LeyPower App is Ashok Leyland’s next-generation remote monitoring solution for engines and DG gensets. With the transition to electronically controlled engines under CEV STAGE IV/V (TREM STAGE IV/V) and CPCB IV+ Emission norms, remote monitoring has become essential.

The app enables real-time performance and efficiency monitoring, tracking of key parameters and historical data for up to 90 days, and faster issue diagnosis and resolution. Operators and customers can remotely monitor engines or DG sets installed at distant locations—even from within the operator’s cabin. Designed for seamless integration, the LeyPower App offers a user-friendly interface and delivers tangible value by enhancing reliability, uptime, and operational visibility.

Future Outlook for the Genset Industry

With rapid infrastructure growth across the country, demand for DG gensets is expected to remain strong. Large-scale investments in infrastructure, road construction, industrial development, and connectivity projects are driving sustained demand in the industrial power segment.

Given the scale of ongoing and planned projects, the genset industry is poised for steady growth, and we anticipate a healthy compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in the coming years.

25 Years of EXCON: Experience and Footfall

EXCON continues to be the most significant platform for the construction equipment ecosystem in India, bringing together all major manufacturers under one roof. For Ashok Leyland, it provides the ideal opportunity to demonstrate our engine expertise, innovation capabilities, and technological leadership.

The exhibition enables us to engage closely with customers as they conceptualize and develop their next-generation machines, reinforcing Ashok Leyland’s position as a preferred partner for innovative, fuel-efficient, and future-ready power solutions.
