Escorts Construction Equipment Launches Innovative Crane Solutions at EXCON

Escorts Construction Equipment (ECE), a business division of Escorts Limited, launched the NXT13DC CNG, India’s first Hybrid Pick-n-Carry Crane powered by dual fuel technology (Diesel and CNG), along with the RC2522, India’s first Mono Chassis Safe Crane with a 25-ton lifting capacity, at EXCON in Bengaluru.

NXT13DC CNG: India’s First Hybrid Pick-n-Carry Crane

The newly launched NXT13DC CNG crane marks the first in Escorts’ series of green construction equipment products.

Positioned in the 13-ton class, the crane is powered by a 49.5 HP BS-III engine compatible with both diesel and CNG fuel systems. Developed through indigenous research and development under the Make in India initiative, the machine features a truck-inspired design and a compact turning radius of just 6.3 meters.

The hybrid-powered crane offers lower operating costs while providing additional rear deck utility for transporting materials and manpower between work sites.

Key features of the NXT13DC CNG include:

• 49.5 HP BS-III Hybrid Engine (Diesel + CNG)
• 13-ton lifting class
• Three-part fully powered boom
• Maximum lifting height of 13 meters
• Heavy-duty 14×24 rear tyres
• Front outriggers for enhanced stability and safety
• Low operating costs and improved efficiency

The crane is specifically designed to deliver enhanced safety during erection activities and high-height operations.

RC2522: India’s First Mono Chassis Safe Crane

Escorts also introduced the RC2522, a Mono Chassis Safe Crane designed to redefine lifting operations in India.

With a lifting capacity of 25 tons, the crane incorporates advanced anti-toppling technology that significantly improves operational safety on construction sites.

Powered by a 110 HP Kirloskar engine, the RC2522 features automatic transmission and a low turning radius of only 6.6 meters.

The machine delivers exceptional durability, high lifting capacity, superior stability, and operational versatility.

At EXCON Bengaluru, Escorts showcased its extensive product portfolio covering material handling, soil compaction, and earthmoving equipment through its Yellow Line and White Line product ranges.

The Yellow Line Series caters to standard applications and addresses the requirements of a broad customer base in India.

The White Line Series is designed to meet the higher performance expectations of fleet owners and corporate customers.
