Agriculture:

The year 2022 has been a very important year for the agriculture sector. The Government of India introduced various initiatives supporting and encouraging technological developments and advancements within this sector. The Digital Agriculture Mission 2021-2025 aims to integrate cutting-edge technologies including artificial intelligence to advance the agriculture industry. With new technologies and machinery being introduced, there is a rise in demand for varying tires that will sustain the changing demands of this sector. Electric vehicles are one such example of how India is ready to pioneer change through digital transformation. Many startups and companies have been investing in supporting the many needs of the electric vehicles segment.

With India ready to accept electric vehicles and adopt them as a norm, in the coming years, we can expect the agriculture industry to gear up for electric tractors/farm machinery as well. We have analyzed the market conditions and expect that this shift within the Agri industry will take root sooner than expected. Cognizing the futuristic demand of the sector, BKT tires have already worked toward curating tires that will be perfect for electric tractors. We recently launched AGRIMAXFACTOR for the Europe market, which is the first E-ready tire by a home-grown tire company. We are committed to staying ahead of the curve and designing sustainable products that will satisfy the needs of our customers. BKT is ready for future innovations in the Agri sector of India, with its mobility solutions.

Construction, Industrial & Infrastructural development in India:

With the world moving towards a technology-driven mobility solution & ecosystem, we find that tire technology is also rapidly evolving. With the new year approaching, we can expect major investments going toward research for new Tire development to withstand extreme conditions in mining operations. The future tires will need to provide reliability, better fuel economy, better performance, and durability at varied operating conditions. . In fact, as India plans to invest $1.4 trillion in several infrastructure projects by 2025 including projects related to ports, railways, roads, etc. we forecast rising demand for OTR tires. BKT is ready for future innovations in OTR machines of India, with its mobility solutions.

Mining:

The mining sector has been one of the fastest-growing sectors spearheading the demand for OTR tires. In the coming years, we expect the introduction of world-class technologies within the mining domain. One such technology is All Steel Radial Tires in the mining sector. The demand for radial OTR tires has been seen to rise in recent times over bias tires, and this trend is expected to grow due to its benefits over bias. The all-steel radial tires generate less heat during operation due to structural superiority, which in turn gives reliability, higher durability, and much better performance. With more & more large & Ultra Large machines being added to the Indian mining industry to improve productivity and reduce costs. In the coming year, we are expecting more acceptance of radial tires, especially in the earthmoving segment. BKT is the first Indian tire company to produce all-steel radial OTR tires to meet the future requirements of customers and strongly support the Indian mining industry. Adhering to India’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ slogan, BKT is stepping forward.
